A planned public information session regarding the Western Sheriff’s Station Project has been postponed. A new date and time for the information session will be announced in the future.
The Western Loudoun substation is planned to be located on a plot of land on business Route 7 near Simpsons Creek Road in Round Hill. The facility will provide patrol, crime prevention, and other law enforcement services to the Western Loudoun County. The planned substation is expected to provide substantial public safety services to the community, reduce travel time to the Sheriff's Office Headquarters in Leesburg and expand the Sheriff's Community Policing Program.
The Western Loudoun Substation is one of four substations for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office opened their first county-owned substation last summer in the South Riding area. The Dulles South Public Safety Center serves as a combined fire-rescue station and law enforcement substation. The Sheriff’s Office also plans to open substations in Brambleton (Ashburn area) and Sterling.
