This week's Loudoun Independent writes about safety concerns since the Virginia Department of Transportation closed Cedar Green Road access out onto Route 28 northbound last month.
According to the Independent article, "VDOT declared the intersection unsafe, despite contrary reports from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office, and pleas from Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Commission to keep the road open to emergency access. The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is on record since last year opposed to the Cedar Green Road closure until secondary road improvements are made."
