There's more to traffic and transit than just cars and trucks. There's buses, carpools, trains, walking and even bicycles. And if you're tired of doing the same old bicycle ride through Loudoun County and are looking for something new, you can check out Map My Ride ... a user-generated "wiki" style site that allows users to add routes and rate and add notes to routes input by others.
The Loudoun Scene reports that all you have to do is put in your starting location (city and state or zip code) and Map My Ride will generate a list of rides starting and finishing from that location. Once you click on a search result, a map will pop up showing the route and any notes. You can zoom in on the map, link to the map, add notes, print it, save it to your computer, add it to your blog/site, share it, etc.
And thanks to the Loudoun Scene, here's a couple of links to local rides:
Ashburn, VA cycling routes
Leesburg, VA cycling routes
Sterling, VA cycling routes
