The Virginia State Police, the Virginia Department of Transportation and the Department of Rail and Public Transportation have been preparing for thousands of buses and vehicles to travel through Virginia for the Inauguration on January 20, and they urge motorists to know what to expect before leaving home to ensure a safe and less stressful trip.
The three agencies held a joint press conference earlier this month to discuss road closures and other transportation issues. Below is the press conference, broken down into three videos.

FYI... the Memorial and Roosevelt bridges have already been closed this morning in preparation for this afternoon's big concert.
