Training Exercise at Dulles Commuter Lot Should Not Have Major Impact on Traffic

Emergency personnel in the Northern Virginia region will be conducting simultaneous training exercises at four venues today, Saturday, September 26, from approximately 9 a.m. to noon.

The training exercises will be held in Arlington County/City of Alexandria, Prince William County, Fairfax County and Loudoun County. In Loudoun County, the training exercise will be held at the Dulles Commuter parking lot located on Moran Road.

The Loudoun County exercise will have minimal impact on the community and should not affect traffic. However, please note that a small stretch of Lockridge Road between Prentice Road and Moran Road will be closed for the exercise.

The county is advising residents that public safety vehicles also will be seen in this area throughout the day on Saturday.
