Sharing the Road Publications Available -- Offer Safety Tips for Bicyclists and Pedestrians

With "Bike to Work Day" approaching on Friday, May 21, here's timely information from the Northern Virginia Regional Commission.

"Sharing the Road in Virginia Laws and Safety Tips for Bicyclists and Pedestrians" pocket guides and bookmark-sized tip sheets are now available online as a part of an NVRC education and safety campaign with BikeWalk Virginia.

The pocket guides and tip sheets were funded through a Virginia Department of Transportation Enhancement grant with additional support from NVRC, the City of Alexandria, and numerous volunteer hours form BikeWalk Virginia and Technical Advisory Committee members.
