The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is currently on the scene of a property damage accident at James Monroe Highway and Hogback Mountain Road and has closed down the roadway. There is a tree down across the roadway.
The Sheriff's Office is asking motorists to follow law enforcement direction on this roadway as VDOT works to cut the tree. Traffic is being detoured from Southbound James Monroe Highway to Emerald Park Drive to Gleedsville Road. Northbound traffic on Gap Road to be diverted to James Monroe Highway.
There is an estimated road re-opening delay of two hours.
