The Law Enforcement Directed Tow Advisory Board (LEDTAB), in conjunction with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, is working to modernize and improve the current towing practices and policies. LEDTAB is soliciting public comments pertaining to policy changes, requirements and services offered by tow and recovery operators that service the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office requests.
Tow operators are presently called on a rotational basis to remove vehicles involved in collisions, disabled vehicles, on behalf of motorists, arrests, statutory impoundments, evidence, parking violations, unattended/abandoned vehicles or under other circumstances where a vehicle needs to be towed.
All comments will be considered by the LEDTAB. Submit comments by email to: policetowing@loudoun.gov.
