The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of multiple events over the weekend that may cause traffic delays around the county. Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely and follow all law enforcement direction.
Saturday
An event in Aldie on Saturday may cause delays on Route 50 in the entire area of the village between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Deputies will also be conducting traffic for a bicycle tour traveling from Maryland on Saturday. Motorists should expect delays in the area of Lovettsville Road, Loyalty Road, Route 9 and Route 690.
Saturday and Sunday
Motorists who travel Route 15 on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Sunday, Oct. 20, should anticipate possible delays due to a special event at Morven Park. Traffic is expected to be heavy in the area of Route 15 and Tutt Lane beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
