“By joining with the Virginia State Police on this sobriety checkpoint, we are working to raise public awareness and discourage impaired driving,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman. “We want drivers to get the message and make the smart choice, don’t drink and drive,” he added.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint.
