The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of several weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.
On Friday and Saturday, an event in the South Riding community will bring increased traffic in the area of Tall Cedars Parkway and Riding Center Drive. The event is being held from 4-11:30 p.m. on Friday and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
A 5k race will be held in the area of Russell Branch Parkway, Atwater Drive and Ashbrook Place on Saturday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Motorists can expect some delays during the race.
Also on Saturday, the area of Route 50 from Middleburg to Loudoun County Parkway will see increased traffic due to a motorcycle event traveling in the area. The motorcyclists are expected to pass through the area between 10:15-11:15 a.m.
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely and follow all law-enforcement direction.
