Loudoun County's new Transit Manager, Paul Mounier, is on the job just in time to oversee the county's new bus service to the new Silver Line Metrorail stations that opened this month in Fairfax County.
Mounier comes to the Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure from the Fairfax County Department of Transportation where he worked for nearly 15 years. He was responsible for the operations and planning for the Fairfax Connector Bus Service. While in Fairfax County, he oversaw the development of the bus plan for the Fairfax Connector's Silver Line bus service. Mounier fills the vacancy left by the retirement of former Transit Manager Nancy Gourley.
