Local commuters have responded positively to Loudoun County's Rideshare Rewards program and have signed up to get paid for carpooling to work!
The program is nearly halfway to its goal of 250 carpool riders -- but there is still time for those who live or work in Loudoun County to register for their rewards. To be eligible for the Rideshare Rewards, participants must:
- Live or work in Loudoun County.
- Drive or ride in a carpool to work.
- Record their carpool trips.
Rideshare Rewards are cash rewards valued from $25 to $100 provided on a gift card. The value of the Reward is based on carpool trips logged at NuRide.com before June 30.
The Rideshare Rewards program is a partnership between Loudoun County Commuter Services and NuRide. Funding is through a grant provided by the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation.
Find more information, including a link to register, online at www.loudoun.gov/carpool or by calling Loudoun County Commuter Services at 703-771-5665.
