Loudoun County officials joined with representatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and other local and state officials today, Tuesday, Oct. 27, to cut the ribbon on $36 million worth of improvements to two-and-a-half miles of Route 7 in Loudoun County.
The improvements include a new westbound truck-climbing lane, roundabouts at the Route 9 interchange, improvements to the Washington & Old Dominion Trail, and several safety and operational improvements for local neighborhoods.
More information about the project is available from VDOT. Photos from the ribbon-cutting can be seen on Loudoun County Government's Facebook page.
