The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.
Of course the major weekend "event" is Halloween. Motorists are reminded to watch for children trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 31, throughout Loudoun County, as they may forget to watch out for you. There are other special events planned on Halloween. See the list below.
These events only include activities where traffic control is being conducted by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and where traffic may be impacted.
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe weekend. And don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour for the end of Daylight Saving Time, officially at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1.
