Loudoun County officials announce an upcoming planned signal outage at the intersection of Route 659 (Belmont Ridge Road) and Gloucester Parkway associated with the Route 7/659 interchange construction.
From now through approximately May 5, modifications will be made to the existing traffic signal. During this period, there will be a planned outage of the traffic signal on or about Thursday, May 4, for the temporary relocation of the traffic controller.
Construction activity related to the signal work is generally scheduled to occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as conditions permit. On or about Thursday, May 4, the work will require the signal to be shut down.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office will be onsite to manage traffic control and notifications while the signal is out of service, which will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
