Lane Closures and Detours Tonight on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Dulles Greenway and Surrounding Roads

Night time construction activities will take place tonight, Thursday, June 22, causing lane closures and detours on the Dulles Toll Road, Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Dulles Greenway and surrounding roads.

 

All work is weather permitting.


Dulles Toll Road East

When:   Thursday, June 22, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Left lane closed

Where:  From mile marker 4.3 to 5.2 (from the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to the Reston Parkway overpass)

Why:     Civil work

 

Dulles Toll Road West

 

When:   Thursday, June 22, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Left lane closed

Where:  From mile marker 4.4 to 3.4 (from 1/10 mile before the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to the Monroe/Van Buren Street overpass)

Why:     Civil work

 

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East

When:   Thursday, June 22, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Full closure

Where:  From Saarinen Circle to mile marker 0.3 (near the Rudder Road overpass).  Follow detour.

Why:     Aerial guideway construction

 

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West

When:   Thursday, June 22, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Left lane closure

Where:  From mile marker 0.0 to 0.2 (from Saarinen Circle to 1/10 mile past the Aviation Drive overpass)

Why:     Aerial guideway construction

 

Autopilot Drive North

When:   Thursday, June 22, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Right lane closed

Where:  Between Rudder Road and Materials Road

Why:     Storm pipe installation

 

Dulles Greenway East

When:   Thursday, June 22 - 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

What:    Two right lanes closed 

Where:  From mile marker 10.0 and 12.0 (from 2/10 mile past Loudoun County Parkway overpass to 3/10 mile before the Main Toll Plaza)

Why:     Road work

 

Sunrise Valley Drive West

When:   Thursday, June 22, 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.

What:    Flagging operation

Where:  At intersection of Sunrise Valley Drive and Roark Drive

Why:     Utility work
