Spinks Ferry Road (Route 657) from Route 15 to Limestone School Road (Route 661) will be closed to through traffic Monday, June 19 and Tuesday, June 20 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night for pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Residents and businesses within the closure area, emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the closed portion of Spinks Ferry Road, but will not be able to go beyond the points of pipe replacement in either direction.
Traffic will be detoured via Route 15, Lucketts Road (Route 662) and Chapel Lane (Route 661) back to Spinks Ferry Road.
Message boards are in place to alert motorists. All work is weather permitting.
